Carol Young Suh Lee42Game context
Katie Boulter enters this US Open first-round matchup on outdoor hard courts with a clear ranking advantage at No. 60 against Carol Young Suh Lee’s No. 143, plus greater main-tour experience and a recent WTA title win at the Ostrava Open. Lee, an American making her Grand Slam main-draw debut after claiming a WTA 125 crown in Warsaw earlier in August, brings strong recent form from challenger-level success but faces a significant step up in competition. The pair has no prior head-to-head record, leaving recent results, serve-return efficiency on hard, and physical conditioning as the primary variables shaping trader views on the implied probabilities.
