Taylah Preston66Game context
Taylah Preston and Alycia Parks meet in the US Open first round on hard courts as closely matched outsiders, with Preston holding a marginal edge in recent trader pricing near 51%. The 20-year-old Australian enters on the back of a WTA 125 title in Vancouver, where she posted multiple straight-set wins and reached a career-high ranking of No. 100. Parks, ranked No. 89, brings greater experience and a powerful serve but has shown inconsistency, frequently dropping opening sets and posting a sub-40% hard-court win rate over her career. No prior head-to-head exists, so surface-specific form, return effectiveness under pressure, and first-slam-round motivation will shape the outcome on Court 12.
