Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Detroit Tigers

Game context
The Los Angeles Dodgers (80-54, first in NL West) enter this matchup at Comerica Park as clear favorites against the Detroit Tigers (62-71, fourth in AL Central), driven by superior offensive production and a favorable pitching matchup. Tarik Skubal anchors the Dodgers rotation with a 2.91 ERA and elite strikeout rate, facing Drew Anderson (4.09 ERA). The Dodgers hold a 40-28 road record and lead in key metrics like batting average and home runs, though they seek to halt a three-game road skid. The Tigers, meanwhile, have dropped eight of their last ten and face significant injury absences across their lineup and bullpen. Traders price the Dodgers as heavy favorites based on these form, roster, and situational edges.
