Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Francisco Giants

Game context
Arizona Diamondbacks (71-63) visit the San Francisco Giants (54-79) at Oracle Park to open a four-game series, with Arizona clinging to NL wild-card contention a few games back of the final spots while San Francisco has long been eliminated. The Diamondbacks hold an 8-1 edge in the season series, including a May sweep in San Francisco, though the Giants won their most recent matchup. Rookie right-hander José Cabrera (0-2, 5.60 ERA) draws the start for Arizona against Landen Roupp (7-13, 4.34 ERA), a matchup that has produced closely contested pricing reflecting the teams' recent form, pitching uncertainty, and multiple key injuries on both rosters. The Giants aim to play spoiler at home while Arizona seeks momentum with 28 games remaining.
