Winston-Salem Open: Botic van de Zandschulp vs Luciano Darderi

Game context
Botic van de Zandschulp faces second-seeded Luciano Darderi in the Winston-Salem Open third round on hard courts, their first meeting. The Dutchman, ranked No. 71, enters with strong recent momentum after a dominant 6-2, 6-0 win over Adolfo Daniel Vallejo and solid hard-court results in Montreal and Cincinnati, including victories over Medvedev and Hurkacz. He reached the final here last year and shows effective first-serve pressure plus clean break-point conversion. Darderi, at No. 22, holds the higher ranking and better 12-month win rate but has looked shaky on hard courts, rallying past countryman Mattia Bellucci from a set down while posting mixed results in recent North American events.
