Cleveland Guardians vs. Los Angeles Angels

Game context
Cleveland Guardians visit the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium for a late-August series, entering with a 65-66 record and a recent win streak while sitting near the AL Central playoff picture. The Angels sit at 52-79, last in the AL West, with ongoing struggles in run prevention and inconsistent offense. Guardians pitching has posted a solid team ERA around 3.75 in recent outings, contrasting with the Angels' weaker home performance. Head-to-head trends favor Cleveland, and roster stability plus road form give the visitors an edge in what remains a competitive matchup with limited late-season implications for either club.
