Anton Matusevich6Game context
**Anton Matusevich holds recent momentum on home hard courts at the Roehampton Challenger series, reaching the semifinals in the prior event before a three-set loss to Oliver Tarvet and opening Roehampton 2 with a 2-1 win over Constantin Bittoun Kouzmine.** The British player, now at a career-high ranking of 330, has compiled a strong 2026 hard-court record and benefits from familiarity with the surface and conditions in London. Michele Ribecai, ranked 276 with a higher career peak, enters after a straight-sets first-round victory over Mark Ceban but carries a more mixed recent record across hard and clay events. No prior head-to-head exists; serve and return metrics are comparable, with Ribecai showing a slight edge in return points won over recent months. The matchup remains closely contested given the ranking differential and surface parity.
