Jaume Munar6⁴0Game context
Arthur Rinderknech enters the US Open second-round matchup as the higher-ranked player (No. 29, seeded 26th) against No. 55 Jaume Munar, with market-implied probabilities reflecting a modest edge around 60%. Both advanced from first-round five-set or four-set battles on August 30, but Munar’s five-set comeback against Terence Atmane likely leaves him more fatigued heading into the hard-court clash on Court 10. Rinderknech’s stronger serve and baseline consistency on hard courts stand out in previews, while the head-to-head remains split 1-1, with Munar’s most recent hard-court win coming in Miami 2025. Recent form and ranking differentials shape trader consensus around the Frenchman’s slight advantage in this Grand Slam encounter.
