Lloyd Harris663Game context
Lloyd Harris enters this US Open first-round matchup on outdoor hard courts with strong momentum, having won nine of his last ten matches while qualifying through three rounds that included victories over Bernard Tomic and Pablo Llamas Ruiz. The 29-year-old South African, ranked around 139 with a career-high of 31 and a 2021 US Open quarterfinal appearance, brings greater experience, serve power, and hard-court pedigree against the 18-year-old American wildcard Jack Kennedy. Kennedy, ranked near 386 and making his main-draw debut after junior doubles success, has shown promise at lower levels but arrives on a recent losing streak with limited ATP exposure. Trader consensus reflects Harris's clear edge in ranking, recent results, and physical advantages on this surface.
