Felix Auger-Aliassime enters this US Open second-round matchup as the clear trader favorite, reflecting his rise to world No. 4 and strong hard-court form, including a four-set opening win over Rinky Hijikata marked by 17 aces and 48 winners. The Canadian, who reached the 2025 semifinals here, holds a 7-3 record in his last 10 matches and benefits from home-country support on outdoor hard courts where his serve and baseline consistency have thrived. Karen Khachanov, ranked around No. 50 after a recent drop, brings veteran experience with a 2022 US Open semifinal and a straight-sets first-round victory, plus a 2-2 head-to-head that includes a 2025 grass win. However, his inconsistent 2026 results and lower ranking contribute to the market's assessment of Auger-Aliassime's edge in this Grand Slam encounter.
