US Open ATP: Luciano Darderi vs Dalibor Svrcina

Game context
Luciano Darderi enters this US Open second-round hard-court matchup as the clear favorite, holding the No. 22 ranking and recent form that includes a four-set first-round win over Harry Wendelken. The Italian leads the head-to-head 3-1 in completed matches, though Dalibor Svrcina claimed their most recent hard-court encounter at Los Cabos. Svrcina, ranked No. 134, reached the second round for the first time after a grueling five-set victory over Valentin Royer, which could leave him physically taxed against a higher-ranked opponent. Darderi’s stronger baseline consistency and serve-return metrics on the surface support trader consensus favoring him to advance, while Svrcina’s path depends on maintaining energy and exploiting any early lapses.
