New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Angels

Game context
**The New York Yankees (78-59, second in the AL East) enter the three-game series at Angel Stadium as clear favorites over the last-place Los Angeles Angels (52-85), driven by MLB-leading pitching depth and a strong road record (41-28).** Yankees starters like Gerrit Cole (7-7, 3.19 ERA) and Cam Schlittler (12-6, 2.09 ERA) contrast sharply with the Angels' rotation and 4.28 team ERA, while New York's offense remains productive despite absences. Key injuries include Aaron Judge (rib stress fracture, 60-day IL, possible mid-September return) and Giancarlo Stanton (calf), alongside recent placements for Ryan McMahon (thumb) and others; the Angels face their own roster issues with players like Yoan Moncada and Nolan Schanuel on the IL. The Yankees' 3.21 ERA and recent form give traders strong consensus on their edge in this late-season matchup.
