Game context

The Detroit Tigers (63-74) visit the Minnesota Twins (66-72) at Target Field in a late-season AL Central series, where the Twins hold a strong home record and lead the season series. Troy Melton’s strong 1.86 ERA anchors Detroit’s staff, but the Tigers’ offense has slumped badly on the road (29-39) with a six-game losing streak entering the matchup and just nine runs scored in their prior six contests. Minnesota’s recent 11-1 blowout win highlights offensive momentum from players like Ryan Jeffers and Brooks Lee, though both clubs carry significant injuries to rotation arms and position players. With playoff hopes dim for each side, the Twins’ home edge and bullpen stability shape the implied probabilities reflected in current pricing.
