Cleveland Guardians vs. Colorado Rockies

Game context
Cleveland Guardians (64-66) visit Coors Field for the series finale against the Colorado Rockies (50-79) on August 23. The Guardians enter with stronger overall form, a three-game win streak, and a favorable pitching matchup as left-hander Foster Griffin (14-4, 3.18 ERA) faces right-hander Tomoyuki Sugano (12-6, 4.70 ERA). Recent roster additions including Jo Adell and Nathaniel Lowe have bolstered Cleveland’s lineup, while the Rockies continue to deal with multiple injuries and a five-game losing streak. High-altitude conditions at Coors typically elevate offense and run totals, though Cleveland’s road record and bullpen depth remain key edges. Lineups feature Steven Kwan, Chase DeLauter, and Angel Martinez for the Guardians opposite Jake McCarthy and Mickey Moniak for Colorado.
