Winston-Salem Open: Dino Prizmic vs Cruz Hewitt

Game context
Prizmic, the 21-year-old Croatian ranked around No. 101, withdrew from the Winston-Salem Open due to injury shortly before the scheduled first-round clash on outdoor hard courts, forcing the match to Monday against a lucky loser. The 17-year-old Australian Hewitt, a wild card and recent Wimbledon boys' finalist, enters with one ATP win (over Marcos Giron in Washington) but limited main-draw experience and a ranking near No. 376. Prizmic holds the deeper tour-level record, including Masters wins earlier in 2026, yet arrives after recent hard-court losses in Cincinnati and a Quebec City challenger. The pair has no prior meeting, with the quick hard surface and physical gap between the experienced baseliner and the teenager likely shaping any adjusted outcome.
