Baltimore Orioles vs. Tampa Bay Rays

Game context
The Rays enter this AL East series as division leaders at 74-49 with the majors' strongest home record, though they just saw a nine-game win streak snapped by Baltimore. The Orioles, at 61-63 and battling for a wild-card spot, have seized momentum by taking the first three games of the four-game set at Tropicana Field, including extra-innings and blowout victories powered by timely hitting from players like Gunnar Henderson and Pete Alonso. Baltimore's recent offensive surge contrasts with roster challenges, including multiple injured players on the IL such as catcher Samuel Basallo beginning a rehab assignment. Pitching matchups and the Rays' home advantage remain key variables for the finale, with both clubs navigating late-season form and playoff positioning.
