US Open ATP: Stefanos Tsitsipas vs Arthur Fils

Game context
Arthur Fils enters the US Open first-round matchup against Stefanos Tsitsipas as the clear favorite, buoyed by a perfect 5-0 head-to-head record that includes a straight-sets demolition on hard courts in Miami earlier in 2026. The 22-year-old Frenchman arrives in peak form after claiming his maiden Masters 1000 title in Cincinnati, posting a 32-10 record with strong hard-court results and climbing to a career-high ranking of No. 11. Tsitsipas, now outside the top 50 at No. 53, has shown flashes including a Gstaad title on clay but struggled on hard courts with recent second-round exits in Montreal and Cincinnati plus an R16 loss in Winston-Salem. The hard-court surface and Fils' power advantage shape trader consensus around the younger player's strong implied probability of advancing.
