Tung-Lin Wu72
Fajing Sun6²3Game context
Tung-Lin Wu holds a 2-0 head-to-head edge over Fajing Sun on hard courts, including straight-sets wins in Shanghai Challenger encounters in 2023 and 2024. Both players compete primarily on hard, with Sun posting a 22-18 record in 2026 and Wu at 21-14; Wu enters with a stronger overall 2026 mark near 23-15. Sun, ranked around 318-323, benefits from home-country play in the Zhangjiagang Challenger first round, while Wu sits near 370 after recent ITF and Challenger results. The outdoor hard surface and limited rest since mid-August events favor consistent return play and break-point conversion, areas where Wu has shown edges in prior meetings.
