Zsombor Piros650Game context
Zsombor Piros holds the edge entering this US Open qualifying second-round match on outdoor hard courts, ranked No. 118 with a career-high of No. 106 and a stronger 2026 record featuring multiple Challenger titles. He dispatched Max Alcala Gurri in straight sets during qualifying round one and leads the head-to-head 1-0 after a three-set victory over Daniil Glinka at the Oeiras Challenger in January. Glinka, at a career-high No. 156 after winning his opener against Pedro Martinez, has shown solid hard-court results in recent Challengers but trails in overall consistency and deciding-set performance against comparable opponents. Piros’s ranking, recent form, and prior win create the primary drivers reflected in trader positioning for this best-of-three encounter.
