Zhangjiagang: Omar Jasika vs Filip Peliwo

Game context
Omar Jasika enters the Zhangjiagang Challenger qualifying round as the higher-ranked player at approximately No. 402 with stronger recent hard-court results, including an 80% win rate over his last 10 matches and a straight-sets victory in his opening qualifier. Filip Peliwo sits near No. 554 and has shown inconsistency, posting a 40% win rate in recent outings across European and Asian events. Their only prior meeting saw Peliwo prevail in three sets on hard courts in 2024, though Jasika’s improved serve consistency and return pressure on outdoor hard this season tilt consensus toward the Australian. Both compete on the ATP Challenger Tour hard-court swing in Asia, where schedule rest and surface adaptation remain key variables ahead of main-draw entry.
