Alycia Parks13Game context
Alexandra Eala enters the National Bank Open second-round match on hard courts holding strong momentum after capturing the Mubadala DC Open title days earlier, her first WTA 1000 crown, which lifted her to a career-high ranking near No. 20 with a 35-18 record. The 21-year-old Filipino has shown improved consistency and power on faster surfaces, drawing significant attention for the Centre Court assignment. Alycia Parks, ranked around No. 71 with a 22-23 mark, arrives with a direct head-to-head edge after overcoming a 0-6 first-set deficit to defeat Eala in the 2026 Australian Open. Parks relies on her serve and aggressive baseline play but has posted mixed recent results, including an early exit in Toronto qualifying paths. Traders weigh Eala’s current form and ranking advantage against Parks’ proven ability to exploit stylistic mismatches on hard courts.
