Lexington: Sebastian Gorzny vs Borna Gojo

Sebastian Gorzny627Game context
Borna Gojo enters the Lexington Challenger first-round matchup as the clear market favorite due to his superior ATP ranking near 163, career-high of 72, and prior Grand Slam results including a US Open fourth round. The 28-year-old Croatian brings greater professional experience on hard courts compared to 22-year-old American Sebastian Gorzny, whose ranking sits well outside the top 800 following his recent transition from a standout college season. Gojo defeated Gorzny convincingly in straight sets during their July meeting in Bloomfield Hills. Gorzny’s recent form includes a qualifying win over Yu Hsiou Hsu and strong collegiate results, but limited pro-level depth favors Gojo’s consistency and serve-return game in this early-round contest. Surface and rest factors remain neutral for both.
