Viktorija Golubic54Game context
Diane Parry enters the US Open first-round matchup on outdoor hard courts with strong recent momentum after capturing her maiden WTA title in Monterrey, defeating Elise Mertens in the final following a fourth-round run at Cincinnati. The 23-year-old Frenchwoman, ranked around No. 31, has won eight of her last nine hard-court matches and seeks a third straight appearance in the second round at Flushing Meadows. Viktorija Golubic, the 33-year-old Swiss veteran ranked near No. 55-56, arrives with solid North American results including a Toronto third-round showing but holds a 2-0 head-to-head edge, both prior wins in straight sets on different surfaces. Trader consensus reflects Parry's current form and ranking advantage as the primary drivers, tempered by Golubic's experience in Grand Slams and the physical demands of Parry's title-week schedule.
