Athletics vs. Seattle Mariners

Game context
The Seattle Mariners hold a clear edge at home against the Athletics in this AL West matchup, anchored by Logan Gilbert's strong 11-8 record and 3.42 ERA opposite a less reliable Athletics starter. Seattle sits at 66-75, six games back in the division and pressing for a wild-card spot, while the 55-86 Athletics remain mired in last place with the league's worst ERA. The Mariners' recent split of a road series against Boston and home advantage at T-Mobile Park contrast with Oakland's inconsistent offense and key injuries, including catcher Shea Langeliers on the IL. Recent form shows both clubs splitting results, but Seattle's bullpen depth and overall pitching staff provide the primary edge reflected in current market pricing.
