New York Mets vs. Chicago White Sox

Game context
The New York Mets (58-70) visit the Chicago White Sox (66-60) for a three-game interleague series at Rate Field beginning August 21, with the White Sox holding home-field advantage and a clearer path in the AL Central standings. The Mets continue to manage multiple absences, most notably Juan Soto (calf) on the 10-day IL with a targeted early-September return, alongside several relievers sidelined. Recent form shows both clubs with modest momentum, but the Mets’ overall offensive and pitching depth remains stretched by the injury list. Weather in Chicago is expected to be mild with no delays anticipated. Traders price these factors into implied probabilities reflecting the White Sox’s stronger roster health and situational edge over the road club.
