Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Game context
The Los Angeles Dodgers maintain a solid grip on the NL West at 69-46 despite a recent six- or seven-game losing streak, while the Arizona Diamondbacks sit at 61-55 and trail by roughly eight games. The upcoming series at Chase Field features a potent offensive environment that often inflates scoring, with the D-backs holding a slight recent edge in the head-to-head. Los Angeles continues to manage multiple pitching injuries, including Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell on rehab assignments alongside others like Gavin Stone and Bobby Miller, which has strained rotation depth and contributed to the skid. Freddie Freeman, Shohei Ohtani, and the core lineup remain central to any rebound, but the matchup highlights the D-backs’ opportunity to close ground in a divisional contest with playoff implications still in play.
