Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Boston Red Sox

Game context
Both clubs enter the three-game series at Fenway Park with nearly identical records near .530 and playoff positioning at stake, but Boston’s 11-1 rout in the opener highlighted a potent offense that collected hits from every starter and exploited Arizona’s depleted roster. The Diamondbacks are missing Ketel Marte and have Nolan Arenado listed day-to-day, while several pitchers remain on the injured list, limiting bullpen depth for a road matchup. Recent form favors the Red Sox, who have alternated strong home results with inconsistent road performances, whereas Arizona has posted a sub-.500 mark away from Chase Field. Pitching matchups, late-August travel fatigue, and any additional lineup adjustments will shape trader views on individual game probabilities.
