ITF M25 Oviedo Men: Samuel De Felipe Garcia vs Xavi Palomar

Game context
Samuel De Felipe Garcia, the 27-year-old Spaniard ranked near 1900-2200, brings greater experience and a steadier 2026 record with multiple qualifier wins and occasional set-dominant results on hard and clay. Xavi Palomar, an 18-year-old also from Spain ranked around 1594, enters on the back of recent qualifier victories at this M25 Oviedo event but carries a poor overall 2026 mark with frequent straight-set losses and elevated double-fault counts. The first-round clay-court matchup features no prior head-to-head history, with both players competing in a low-level ITF field where recent form, serve consistency, and adaptation to the surface shape the competitive balance reflected in trader pricing.
