Ilia Simakin76Game context
Ilia Simakin enters the Zhangjiagang Challenger quarterfinal on outdoor hard courts with stronger recent momentum, having dropped just one set across his first two wins while compiling a 25-8 hard-court record in 2026. The 22-year-old Russian, ranked No. 275 with a career high of 214, shows consistent service and return metrics that have translated into efficient victories over Yevseyev and Dellavedova. Ilya Ivashka, the 32-year-old Belarusian at No. 393, reached this stage with a three-set opener and a straight-sets second-round result but carries a lower ranking and less dominant hard-court form this season. No prior head-to-head exists, leaving surface-specific form, age-related endurance, and current match fitness as the primary variables shaping trader assessments of the implied probabilities.
