US Open ATP: Alexander Bublik vs Tommy Paul

Game context
Tommy Paul holds the edge in trader consensus for this US Open third-round match on outdoor hard courts, reflecting his 5-2 head-to-head lead and stronger 2026 win rate despite Bublik’s straight-sets demolition of Adrian Mannarino in the prior round. Bublik, ranked just ahead at No. 16, brings a higher ace rate and recent five-set victory over Paul at the 2025 US Open, yet his inconsistency on hard courts this season limits upside. Paul’s counterpunching style and home support in New York factor into the pricing, though both players’ histories of extended rallies and tiebreak volatility suggest the outcome remains sensitive to early breaks and serving efficiency in what projects as a competitive encounter.
