Game context

Daniel Rincon faces 16-year-old American wild card Jordan Lee in the second round of 2026 US Open qualifying on outdoor hard courts. Rincon, a former US Open boys’ champion with ATP-level experience and a ranking near 208, advanced by upsetting fifth seed Titouan Droguet in three sets after dropping the opener. Lee, fresh off winning the Wimbledon boys’ singles title as a qualifier, secured his first professional win by rallying past Mark Lajal. The matchup pits Rincon’s serve consistency and pro-circuit seasoning against Lee’s recent junior momentum and potential on hard courts, with no prior head-to-head record. Schedule and surface conditions will influence baseline rallies and break-point conversion in this best-of-three encounter.
