Gauthier Onclin55Game context
Gauthier Onclin holds a ranking edge at approximately 158-169 and enters this US Open qualifying first-round hard-court matchup with stronger recent form, including multiple hard-court wins in challengers such as victories over Timofey Skatov and Alejandro Moro Canas. The 25-year-old Belgian also leads the head-to-head 2-0, with prior success on the surface. Vitaliy Sachko, ranked around 188-191 and aged 29, has shown inconsistent results lately and faces a tough stylistic test against Onclin’s return game and consistency on outdoor hard. Both players are competing for main-draw entry, with limited rest or travel factors at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Trader consensus reflects Onclin’s form advantage and surface familiarity in this closely contested qualifier.
