Tom Gentzsch67Game context
Tom Gentzsch and Jerome Kym meet in the final of the 2026 Hagen Challenger on outdoor clay, their third career meeting and first at this level. Gentzsch, the higher-ranked German, holds a 1-1 head-to-head but claimed their most recent clash 6-2 6-3 on clay at Roland Garros qualifying in May. He advanced to the final after defeating third seed Zsombor Piros, while Kym reached his first Challenger final of the season. Gentzsch enters with stronger recent results, including one title in his last 47 matches, and benefits from local support on familiar clay. Kym’s slight edge in some betting markets reflects his physical tools and prior success against similar opponents, though the closely matched rankings and surface history point to a competitive outcome.
