Arthur Géa enters this US Open qualifying second-round matchup as the clear favorite, holding the No. 1 seed and ATP ranking around 86 after claiming his maiden ATP title at Los Cabos in early August. The 21-year-old Frenchman defeated Sumit Nagal 6-3, 7-6(4) in round one and shows strong hard-court form with nine wins in his last ten matches. Clément Chidekh, ranked near 185, advanced past Federico Coria 6-2, 6-2 but sits lower in the rankings with a more modest main-draw record. Both players are French and compete on outdoor hard courts at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, where Géa’s superior ranking, recent title momentum, and seeding position shape trader consensus around his advancement. No prior head-to-head exists, and both enter on limited rest following straight-sets victories.
