**Sorger holds the edge in this Plovdiv 3 Challenger round-of-16 clay match due to his higher ranking (No. 364 vs. Aboian’s No. 431) and stronger recent form.** The 20-year-old Austrian has strung together multiple deep runs and set-winning streaks on clay in the weeks leading into the event, including strong showings in ITF events. Aboian, a 24-year-old left-hander from Argentina, brings solid clay-court experience and leads the head-to-head 1-0 from a 2023 M25 final on the surface, but his results have been more mixed lately with several early exits. Both players are comfortable on red clay, and the outcome will likely hinge on serve consistency and break-point conversion in what projects as a competitive best-of-three-sets encounter.
