Tereza Valentova66Game context
Tereza Valentova enters the Philadelphia WTA 125 semifinal as the No. 3 seed with a clear edge in ranking, age, and recent hard-court results. The 19-year-old Czech has advanced without dropping a set, posting strong baseline consistency and efficient serving in her three wins, while holding an 80% win rate against players outside the top 100 this season. Julia Grabher, the 30-year-old Austrian wild card ranked No. 114, reached the semifinals with three victories but played her quarterfinal on August 28 and needed three sets against Veronika Erjavec. Grabher carries a modest hard-court record and faces a rest disadvantage in their first meeting. Trader consensus reflects Valentova’s superior form and surface fit on indoor hard, though Grabher’s experience offers limited upset potential before the US Open.
