Derry City FC vs. PFK CSKA Sofia - Second Half Result

Game context
Derry City FC and CSKA Sofia face off in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League first qualifying round tie at Brandywell Stadium, with the Bulgarian side holding historical pedigree as a multiple-time champion but traveling after the opening fixture in Sofia. Derry enters on mixed recent League of Ireland form that includes narrow wins and draws, providing momentum, while both squads navigate typical pre-European fixture congestion and squad depth considerations. The even 50% implied probabilities across Derry win, draw, and CSKA win for the second-half outcome reflect the wisdom of crowds balancing CSKA’s greater resources and attacking options against Derry’s home advantage, organized defensive structure, and potential for set-piece threats in a low-scoring European tie. Limited head-to-head history and the two-legged format further contribute to the tightly contested market.
