Game context
Both teams enter this AL East matchup with closely contested records near the .500 mark amid a crowded division race. The Blue Jays' recent offensive output has leaned on Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette's consistency, while the Red Sox have benefited from strong contributions from Rafael Devers and improved bullpen depth following roster adjustments. Pitching matchups and home-field advantage at Fenway or Rogers Centre remain key variables, alongside any late-July trade-deadline moves that could reshape rotations or lineups. Injury reports on starters and relievers will directly influence implied probabilities, with both clubs managing rest and travel in a condensed summer schedule.
