Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

Game context
The Los Angeles Dodgers enter this three-game series against the Pittsburgh Pirates with a commanding 77-51 record and NL West lead, hosting at Dodger Stadium where they have posted strong home results. The Pirates sit at 63-66 and trail in the NL Central, facing a steep challenge despite some recent wins. Multiple injuries shape both sides, including Dodgers absences for Shohei Ohtani (knee), Edwin Díaz (neck), and others on the IL, while Pittsburgh deals with Ryan O'Hearn (quad) and pitching staff limitations. Recent momentum favors the Dodgers' depth and offensive output, though series outcomes in MLB remain subject to pitching matchups, bullpen availability, and day-to-day roster adjustments. Traders weigh these roster and situational factors heavily in assessing implied probabilities for game or series results.
