Los Angeles Angels vs. Baltimore Orioles

Game context
The Baltimore Orioles host the Los Angeles Angels for a three-game series at Camden Yards beginning August 4, with the Orioles entering at 54-58 and fourth in the AL East while the Angels sit at 43-69 and last in the AL West. Baltimore’s home mark near .500 and recent interleague results against weaker competition have shaped expectations for the matchup, as the Angels continue to play out a non-contending schedule. Recent roster moves, including injured-list placements for Angels catchers and infielders, have further highlighted Los Angeles’s depth challenges. Pitching matchups and bullpen availability in the coming days could influence run totals, while Baltimore looks to build momentum before a stretch of divisional games. Both clubs face schedule spots that reward steady performance over extended winning streaks at this stage of the 2026 season.
