Kansas City Royals vs. Toronto Blue Jays

Game context
The Royals enter the Toronto series after their nine-game win streak ended in a 3-0 shutout loss on August 26, with both clubs well out of playoff contention in the AL Central and East. The Blue Jays leverage home-field advantage at Rogers Centre and a deep bullpen after placing multiple starters on the injured list, including Shane Bieber and others with elbow, shoulder, and forearm issues. Kansas City’s recent offensive output and quality starts from arms like Randy Dobnak contrast with ongoing road woes and absences such as Maikel Garcia. Weather, bullpen usage, and late-series lineup tweaks remain variables that could shift implied probabilities in this matchup.
