Boston Red Sox vs. Athletics

Game context
The Boston Red Sox enter their upcoming four-game road series against the Athletics (July 27–30 at Sutter Health Park) with a 52-48 record and recent momentum from a strong stretch that includes multiple wins over the Rays. Boston’s rotation faces challenges from injuries, with starters like Ranger Suarez (groin) and Connelly Early (elbow) on the IL alongside position players Trevor Story and Isiah Kiner-Falefa, forcing reliance on depth options. The Athletics continue managing their own roster issues, including pitcher J.T. Ginn’s blister-related IL stint and outfielder Colby Thomas’s wrist concern. Recent form, home/away splits, and bullpen availability will shape implied probabilities, as will any late lineup adjustments before first pitch.
