This market will resolve according to the number of times Elon Musk (@elonmusk), posts on X from June 9 12:00 PM ET to June 16, 2026 12:00 PM ET.
For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count.
Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies on the main feed such as https://x.com/elonmusk/status/1786073478711353576 will be counted by the tracker.
Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes).
Community reposts which are not counted by the tracker not count toward the total.
The resolution source for this market is the 'Post Counter' figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
What the Market Asks
This prediction market centers on the total number of tweets posted by Elon Musk from his verified X account during the seven-day window beginning June 9 and ending June 16, 2026. Traders are asked to forecast the precise count of original posts, replies, and quote tweets that appear publicly within that interval. The market therefore functions as a narrow, time-bound gauge of activity rather than a broad assessment of engagement or reach.
Background and Significance
Elon Musk maintains one of the most closely followed accounts on X, where statements can influence markets, policy discussions, and public sentiment across multiple industries. Prediction markets on tweet volume capture collective expectations about how frequently he will use the platform during a given period. Such markets attract attention because they distill observable behavior into a single numeric outcome, allowing participants to express views on consistency, external pressures, or shifts in communication strategy without requiring forecasts about content or tone.
Key Factors Traders Watch
Participants typically monitor several recurring elements that have historically correlated with changes in posting frequency. These include scheduled product announcements or earnings releases from Tesla, SpaceX, and related ventures; regulatory developments affecting his companies; and any major personal or professional travel that may limit or increase access to the platform. Broader platform-wide events, such as policy updates on X itself, can also shape activity levels. Traders weigh these signals against Musk’s established pattern of intermittent high-volume periods followed by quieter stretches, adjusting expectations accordingly while remaining alert to sudden news that could prompt additional posts.
How Resolution Works
Resolution relies on a transparent count of qualifying tweets published by the official @elonmusk account between the start of June 9 and the end of June 16, 2026, in the UTC time zone. Only posts that remain visible on the public timeline at the close of the period are included; deleted or protected content is excluded. Polymarket uses independent data feeds and archive records to verify the final tally, ensuring the outcome rests on verifiable timestamps rather than subjective interpretation. Once the window closes, the market settles to the recorded integer total, providing a clear and auditable result for all participants.
