Fabian Marozsan720Game context
Fabian Marozsan, the 15th seed ranked No. 63, faces James Duckworth in the Winston-Salem Open quarterfinals on outdoor hard courts. Marozsan arrives with back-to-back wins, overcoming a first-set deficit to defeat Martin Damm 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 after earlier beating Miomir Kecmanovic, while Duckworth has advanced with three straight victories including a 7-5, 6-3 win over Lorenzo Sonego. The Hungarian holds the higher ranking and career peak, with a solid hard-court win rate near 50 percent this season, but Duckworth, ranked No. 79 and 34 years old, brings veteran experience, strong recent hard-court service hold percentages, and momentum from not dropping a set in earlier rounds. No prior head-to-head exists, and both players enter with limited recovery time ahead of the US Open main draw.
