The Short Version

Polymarket is reachable from Qatar in 2026 - the site and accounts load - but it is not locally authorized and not practically funded: no Qatari regulator licenses it, retail crypto sits outside the permitted framework, and gambling is prohibited. This page states the facts; it does not help anyone around a restriction. polymarkets.co.il is an educational resource.

The financial rail

Qatar's 2024 QFC Digital Assets Framework permits tokenization and certain institutional digital assets, but it classifies cryptocurrencies and stablecoins as "Excluded Tokens" - meaning they fall outside the permissive rules. The Qatar Central Bank has repeatedly warned against crypto trading, and local banks do not process it. So even though the website loads, an individual has no licensed local path to buy the USDC a Polymarket deposit needs.

The gambling rail

Gambling is prohibited in Qatar under both statute and the prevailing interpretation of Sharia, and event/prediction contracts have not been carved out as a separate permitted category. A stablecoin-funded binary outcome contract therefore runs into the gambling line as well as the crypto one.

What this site offers Qatari readers

Everything educational. The guides, the probability-thinking material and the free training mode are open to everyone. Reading prediction-market prices - 62 cents as a 62% chance - is a transferable skill for markets and news literacy. If the rules change, this page changes with them. For where access is clearly lawful, see the country availability guide.
