Cincinnati Open: Aryna Sabalenka vs Xinyu Wang

Game context
Aryna Sabalenka enters the Cincinnati Open round of 32 as the clear favorite, backed by her world No. 1 ranking, multiple 2026 WTA 1000 titles on hard courts, and superior power game featuring a dominant serve. She recently battled through six match points to defeat Talia Gibson in the prior round, underscoring her resilience despite some questions about peak form. Xinyu Wang arrives with momentum after a comeback victory over Donna Vekic to reach her first Cincinnati third round, relying on clean left-handed ball-striking and tactical play. Their head-to-head favors Sabalenka 1-0, and Wang's lower ranking plus less consistent results against elite competition shape the wide consensus gap in implied probabilities for this hard-court matchup.
