UFC Fight Night: Rei Tsuruya vs. Kevin Borjas (Flyweight, Prelims)

Game context
Rei Tsuruya enters the flyweight prelim against Kevin Borjas with an 11-1 record and strong momentum from a first-round rear-naked choke submission of Luis Gurule in May 2026. The 24-year-old Japanese prospect has finished nine of his wins via strikes or submissions, highlighting finishing power and grappling that align with his favored market position. Borjas sits at 11-5 overall and 2-4 in the UFC, with a recent unanimous decision win over Andre Lima offset by consecutive losses, including a second-round knockout defeat. The Aug. 29 bout at Shanghai Indoor Stadium occurs on a card with limited spotlight for prelims, though Tsuruya's youth, finishing rate, and stylistic edge versus Borjas's inconsistent recent form shape the current trader consensus around the heavy favorite. No late changes or injury reports have altered the matchup.
