Toronto Blue Jays vs. Washington Nationals

Game context
Both teams enter the late-July series at Nationals Park with middling records and significant injury challenges shaping roster availability. The Blue Jays, sitting near the bottom of the AL East, have placed multiple position players and starter Max Scherzer on the injured list in recent weeks, thinning their depth and forcing reliance on call-ups or limited options in the rotation and outfield. The Nationals, hovering around .500 in the NL East, also manage several pitching ailments that could affect bullpen usage and starting matchups across the three-game set. Home-field factors at Nationals Park, combined with each club's recent form and travel considerations, contribute to trader views on series outcomes and individual game probabilities.
