Game context
The Los Angeles Angels and San Francisco Giants meet in an interleague series shaped by starting pitching matchups, bullpen depth, and recent offensive output. Both clubs sit in the AL and NL West, respectively, where divisional standings pressure and schedule strength factor into performance. Recent roster moves, injury designations from official reports, and home/away splits determine lineups, with rest advantages or back-to-back situations adding variables. Historical head-to-head trends provide context, though current form and weather conditions for outdoor games can shift implied probabilities reflected in trader consensus. Late scratches or lineup confirmations often prompt rapid adjustments ahead of first pitch.
