Game context
The Minnesota Twins enter the upcoming three-game series at Target Field with a stronger 42-46 record and third-place standing in the AL Central, compared to the Angels' 36-52 mark and fifth-place position in the AL West. Home pitching matchups and recent Twins momentum from interleague play against stronger opponents like the Yankees could shape early betting lines. Key roster notes include Twins catcher Ryan Jeffers beginning a rehab assignment from a hand fracture, while Angels catcher Logan O'Hoppe remains day-to-day and Mike Trout continues his recovery timeline. Both clubs have shown inconsistent run production and bullpen reliability this season, with the Angels' road performance a notable drag on their implied win probability.
